Due to high water levels in the Birkenhead and Lillooet Rivers, and the creeks that pour into them, large woody debris have accumulated in and along the river banks.

Large woody debris tend to accumulate on the river banks and create log jams which are extremely dangerous.  The increased water flows can cause these log jams to let go at any time.

Please use extreme caution this long weekend be advised to keep away from and out of the river systems for serious safety reasons.
