Líl̓wat’s Maya Nelson takes the lead in the Pemberton Secondary School production of Little Shop of Horrors staged in Whistler at the Maury Young Arts Centre this week.

Local youth, Maya Nelson  takes on the role of world-weary, yet optimistic, Audrey, adored by nerdy Seymour and the namesake of the man-eating plant at the centre of this family-friendly musical. (Approximately two hours long, with an intermission, the play may be unsuitable for younger children.)

The show runs Wednesday, February 22 to Saturday, February 25 with Maya appearing opposite Spence Barker as Seymour, on Wednesday, February 22 and Friday, February 24.

Tickets are $7 and are available in advance at PSS or at the door.

Showtime is 7 pm.

Come out and cheer on Maya in her acting debut.
