The third annual Social Venture Challenge is ready to help entrepreneurs throughout the Sea to Sky develop “cause-driven” businesses that benefit their communities.

The Social Venture Challenge kicks off Wednesday, April 12, 6 pm to 8 pm with Creating Community Impact, an evening to learn more about the community benefits of social ventures, meet past challenge winners and see how your business idea measures up.

Past challenge winners, the Green Moustache’s founder, Nicolette Richer, and Renee McNeil, founder of Cutting Barriers, a training and employment agency will share their inspiring stories, participants will learn about a new resource that brings entrepreneurs together with funders, and there will be an opportunity network.

Tickets for the Social Venture Challenge 2017’s Creating Community Impact at the Squamish-Líl̓wat Cultural Centre are $12 and include light refreshments. The are available online at https://www.eventbrite.ca/e/creating-community-impact-social-venture-challenge-2017-tickets-32968291046
