Starting the 2017-2018 ski season there are two new opportunities for Lil̓watúl  youth, aged 5 – 18 to ski or ride at Whistler Blackcomb.


Ski and Snowboardng Lift Passes For Youth 15 – 18

Free ski passes will be provided to Lil̓wat7úl youth between the ages of 15 – 18 years old, provided they meet the following criteria:

  1. Have demonstrated that they can ski/ride safely and confidently on Whistler Blackcomb’s intermediate runs in a variety of snow conditions and terrain (currently referred to as Whistler Kids Level 4); and
  2. Have completed a mountain awareness session (incorporated into Whistler Blackcomb ski lessons)

Skill level assessment clinics will be provided for youth who have not taken Whistler Kids Level 4, but want to demonstrate their ability to meet these criteria.

If you are in this age group and are an intermediate skier, please fill out the Seasons Pass form. (This can be submitted online or printed out.)


Ski and Snowboarding Lift Pass, Rentals and Lessons For Youth 5 –18

Lil̓wat7úl  youth between the ages of 5 – 18 are eligible for free Whistler Blackcomb ski/ride lift, rental and lesson packages, to be delivered mid-week.

Children and youth attending Xet̓ólacw Community School (XCS) will be benefiting from this program through the school.

If your child(ren) does not attend XCS please fill in the Lift, Rental and Lessons Package form. (This can be submitted online or printed out.)

Once we gauge the level of interest we will follow up to confirm ski lesson days, transportation arrangements and further paper work will need to be filled out.

Please note: These opportunities for Lil̓wat7úl youth will not change any other programs currently being provided by Whistler Blackcomb to First Nation recreational organizations, such as the First Nations Snowboard Program.
