Lil̓wat7úl,

We have been notified of the first  case of COVID-19 in our community. We must increase our vigilance to ensure that more cases do not spread through the community. Vancouver Coast Health will be completing contract tracing.

If you are symptomatic, please stay home. If Public Health has asked you to isolate, please stay home.

We recommend that anyone who attended any of the gatherings, please monitor their symptoms and go for testing, even if their symptoms are mild.

We also ask that those who attended the gathering on Saturday, December 12 self-isolate for 14 days.

If you need help, please contact Líl̓wat Health and Healing at 604-902-4397, between 8 am and 8 pm, and an isolation package packages can be delivered to your home.

Please do your part in continuing to follow COVID-19 safety guidelines. Maintain your distance, wear masks in public and keep your bubble small, even in this challenging time.

It is not the time for our community to suffer any more than we already have.
