Important Information for SA Clients

For all IA (Income Assistance) and PWD (Persons with Disabilities) and New clients who were eligible to receive IA, Indigenous Service Canada (ISC) provided an automatic $300 monthly COVID-19 crisis supplement for May to July 2020 which was issued on your IA cheques/payments.

*IA and PWD eligible clients not waiting for or receiving other federal benefits (EI or CERB) will receive the COVID-19 Crisis Supplement.

BANK STATEMENTS – To ensure all files are up to date, all IA clients including PWD clients are required to provide bank statements for April, May, & June to your Band Social Development Worker by August 12, 2020.

HYDRO BILLS – As you are aware, the Social Development Department has been closed to all Líl̓wat citizens since March 2020. According to government regulations all mail including your hydro bills are to remain unopened for the Líl̓wat Station Post Office to accept your mail and redirect your bill to:
