Title: Finance Assistant
Location: Finance Department /ULLUS
Status: TEMPORARY FULL TIME (12 MONTH MATERNITY COVER)
Reporting to: Finance Manager
Summary:
The Finance Department is responsible for the accounting functions of the NATION. This includes budget preparation , monthly monitoring/reconciliation, cash flow, accounts receivable and payable, payroll and benefits. The daily function of the department requires timely and accurate flow of data, organized paper trails and team work.
Key Deliverables:
- Data entry of invoices and vouchering
- Filing to support program accountants, accounts payable and receivable staff
- Prepare reconciliation reports as requested
- Assist team members with work load as required
Key Qualifications and Attributes:
- Accounting courses and experience is an asset
- Strong computer literacy with data entry experience
- Attention to detail
- Demonstrated eagerness to learn
- Proven skills with Microsoft office and SAGE software
- Team player who has shown to be flexible and reliable as needed
