The Finance Department  is responsible for the accounting functions of the NATION.

Title:                                    Finance Assistant
Location:                          Finance Department /ULLUS
Status:                                TEMPORARY FULL TIME (UP TO 12 MONTHS)
Reporting to:                  Finance Manager

Summary:

The Finance Department  is responsible for the accounting functions of the NATION. This includes budget preparation , monthly monitoring/reconciliation, cash flow, accounts receivable and payable, payroll and benefits. The daily function of the department requires timely and accurate flow of data, organized paper trails and team work.

Key Deliverables:

  • Data entry of invoices and vouchering
  • Filing to support program accountants, accounts payable and receivable staff
  • Prepare reconciliation reports as requested
  • Assist team members with work load as required

 Key Qualifications and Attributes:

  • Accounting courses and experience is an asset
  • Strong computer literacy with data entry experience
  • Attention to detail
  • Demonstrated eagerness to learn
  • Proven skills with Microsoft office and SAGE software
  • Team player who has shown to be flexible and reliable as needed
  • Submit a criminal records check
