The Li̓l̓wat Nation Annual Report 2017 and 2017 Inherent Rights Workshop Summary are now available online.

The Annual Report presented  at the Thursday, October 19’s General Assembly (GA), is a 60-page document that outlines the Nation’s finances, as well as the achievements of governance and community members. This year, instead of the traditional landscapes, the report cover features a beautiful painting of spawning salmon by Lil̓wat7úl artist Levi Nelson (One of Nelson”s photographs is also featured in the report.) As well, Lil̓wat7úl photographer Jaime Pascal’s work is represented with her first and third place Celebrating Líl̓wat Life Photo Contest winning photos featured in the pages of the report.

The title of this year’s report is I Wa7 Cátn̓em: Celebration. As you read through the pages you will see that  in 2016/2017 there was much to celebrate.

Also presented at the GA, was a summary of this past winter’s three, two-day Inherent Rights workshops.
