NOTICE OF NOMINATION MEETING
Notice is hereby given that the Lílwat Nation ̓ will hold a Nomination Meeting on October 15, 2025, in accordance with the Lílwat Nation Election Code (2019) ̓ , for the purpose of nominating candidates for two (2) Housing Board Member positions, two (2) Ts’zil Learning Centre Education Committee positions, and one (1) Health & Healing Board Member position for the next term of office, in an Election to be held on November 27, 2025.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION
Registered Lílwat ̓ members who are eighteen (18) years of age and older as of the date of the Election may nominate or second candidates, and vote in this Election, and shall form the Voters List. An Elector may make a nomination in person at the Nomination Meeting, or deliver a completed Mail-In Nomination Form and Voter Declaration Form to the Electoral Officer before the start of the Nomination Meeting. The forms may be downloaded from the webpage listed at the bottom of this notice. To be eligible for candidacy, an individual must:
a) Be an Elector of the Lílwat Nation ̓ who is at least eighteen (18) years old as of the Election date;
b) Be duly nominated to be a candidate;
c) Not have been convicted of an Indictable Offence within the previous three (3) years. A criminal record check must be provided to the Electoral Officer as proof that the nominee has not been convicted of an Indictable Offence within the previous three (3) years.
To become a candidate, a nominee must deliver the following to the Electoral Officer by 4:00 PM on October 21, 2025:
1) A completed Notice of Acceptance for only one (1)
position; OR
2) A declaration confirming the withdrawal of their
Nomination.
All supporting Nomination documents, Candidate Forms, and the official Voters List of all eligible Electors shall be posted and available during regular business hours at the Lílwat Nation ̓ Administration Office; can be requested from the Electoral Officer; and will be available to download at:
