Grant writing workshop for artists – First People Council – Free!

Are you an emerging First Nation’s artist? This workshop hosted by First Peoples Cultural Council will give you an overview of how to write successful grant applications, answer questions you have about how to access funding, and provide resources to access other provincial and national funding sources. All artists welcome!

Educational workshop with Dr. Lorna Williams – Free!
Time: 1pm – 3pm

Lil’wat principles of Learning. During this session Wanosts’a7 (Dr. Lorna Williams) will share approaches to teaching and learning from a Lil’wat perspective sharing ways in which indigenous knowledges can enhance teaching practice and enrich learning for all students. This free lecture will be of particular interest to educators, those who work in both formal and informal learning environments (e.g. primary, secondary, and post-secondary institutions, and museums).
