First of all we’d like to thank everyone for continuing to conserve water overnight.  We were hoping that we’d be able to announce a return to normal yesterday afternoon but there were some complications with the electrical installation of the new pump and the situation had to be monitored all night to ensure that the pump continued to run.  Many thanks to Stan Lester who went out to check on the pump every couple of hours!

The tank is now at 4.7m which is almost full.   The pump continued to work through the night and there did not appear to be any problems however the electrical situation required a work around which will need to be corrected this morning.  For this reason we are not yet fully lifting the Conservation Notice.

As soon as we are sure the pump is working properly we will let the community know.  Thanks again for your patience and cooperation
