The Líl̓wat Business Group is the Líĺ̓wat Nation’s arms-length economic development corporation consisting of six limited partnerships. From providing excellent quality retail to cutting edge forest management techniques and quality construction projects, LBG̓’s divisions support the economic growth and development of the Nation.

LBG’s mission is to build a diverse, sustainable economy that respects our people, our Territory, and our values. It’s vision is for Líl̓wat Nation to take its rightful place in the Canadian economy, a place that was denied to First Nations for decades. Today, LBG is changing that as it supports the Nation in its long-term goals and objectives.

Moving towards self-determination means exploring opportunities in lands and resource management, establishing strong partnerships and growing the Nation’s businesses. New economic opportunities are being realized in forestry, energy, construction, retail and tourism through partnering with companies that recognize the benefits of working with the Nation and adhere to LBG̓s values.
