On behalf of the Líl̓wat Nation Rodeo Club, our heartfelt thanks to the community of Líl̓wat for helping host the annual Rodeo. This event thrives on your unwavering support—whether through fundraising efforts, volunteering, or stepping in to tackle the many tasks at hand.
We take pride in making this annual rodeo our own, beginning with our flag and welcome song. Funday truly embodies the spirit of our youth. And about that tug-of-war event between the men and women, there is no doubt that the ladies emerged victorious!
We are grateful to all the vendors for choosing to unite with us in providing delightful snack options and sharing their wonderful goods.
A special shoutout to all the Líl̓wat Nation’s Friends & Partners who have generously responded to our sponsorship requests – your support is invaluable.
In closing, a message to you from all the members of the Líl̓wat Nation Rodeo Club, we are incredibly grateful to everyone for making the May Long weekend Rodeo a resounding success. You are all outstanding ambassadors. Together we can make great things happen.

I am so appreciative of the dedication that’s been shown by the community and volunteers to ensure another successful Rodeo. The event has really grown and requires much more support and involvement from everyone. I am thankful for the continued efforts and service of all those who come out and contribute, especially those maintaining the grounds, which means they aren’t able to watch the events themselves. A final thank you to Maxine and Renee for steering the whole thing!
